森巴敲擊手Airto Moreira及其妻子Flora Purim聯同一班超級爵士樂手，包括Chick Corea、Stanley Clarke、Herbie Hancock、Mark Egan、Gary Meek和Hiram Bullock在B&W Music品牌下組合成Airto Moreira & The Gods of Jazz。在1983年，正值Fusion Jazz高峰期，他們即興製作了經典發燒作品Killer Bees (殺人蜂)，推出後大獲好評，更是傳誦一時之超級作品。因合約問題，這超級組合可一不可再，第二張作品遙遙無期，只好在1998年重新為Killer Bees推出更完美之NEW 98 Mix ~ Revenge of The Killer Bees (再見殺人蜂)，Airto Moreira & The Gods of Jazz正式劃上句號，數年後、Moreira更與B&W Music出現合約問題，市面絕版。今天我們找來少量這兩張絕版CD連同Airto Moreira最新專輯Homeless(無家可歸)供各發燒友購買。
